Older Dog Adoptions

We often have older dogs available for adoption. These dogs are either free with spay/neuter contract or for a nominal fee to cover spay/neuter.
Why do we end up with older dogs?
  • We retire females out of our breeding program around age 3.
  • They are only bred a maximum of 3 times. This allows the female to go on to be a normal family pet outside of a kennel, with a couch of their own.
  • All our females are potty trained and used to being in the house.
  • We also retain dogs from different litters to see how they will turn out. If a dog doesn’t pass our rigorous health testing or doesn’t quite turn out the way we want for the future of the breed, they will be pet homed.
